I work closely with my clients using various massage modalities and techniques, stretches, and educational materials which enables the client to become more proactive in taking charge of their health and well-being.
Massage is one of the oldest healing modalities in the world. There are ancient Chinese records going back as far as 3000 years describing the types and benefits of massage. Hippocrates wrote about the use of various massage techniques for muscle and joint pain. Today, there are over 250 recognized massage techniques. From the well known modalities like Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, to Trigger Point Therapy, Myofacial Release, Muscle Energy Techniques, and the like, to Sports Massage, Pre-Natal Massage, Thai Massage, Cranio Sacral techniques, there is a technique and a therapy to suit everyone.
